I have a thunderbird 950/256 ram/win98
my current video card is a ati 7200 32 m

My choices are asylum geforce fx5200 128m (price 60 bucs)
xtasy 9200 se 128m (price 80 bucs)
mad dog prowler mx440 64m (price 40 bucs)

listen, the geforce4mx is more than a geforce2, any geforce4mx will beat a geforce2 ultra. it also shares some of the traits from the TI series, the mx just does not have DX8 support. I dont want to even thinkabout how slow a 9200SE would be. A 9200 is a rebagged 9000 non pro. and the SE is the value line. so stay way from that. get a 4200 refurb for about 80. but of those you listed, the 5200 would be the best choice
