Which video card to buy??

Currently have a GeForce2 MX400 w/ 64mb

Want a cheap upgrade w/ noticeable performance, looking in FS/FT Forums
Heres what I'm looking at

Radeon 8500 64mb - $40
GeForce3 ti200 64mb - $40
GeForce4 ti4200 64mb- $45 <--- a bit over budget

Which one? Need to buy quick!

Cough up the extra $5 and get the Ti4200 - it WILL be worth it. They're still quite viable cards. 🙂

Overclocks to 275/275 at least. You might get to 4600 speeds giving you roughly 30% improvement over 8500.

I can get a 9200se for $45 shipped also... So 9200se or GF4 ti4200? 🙂

9200se and FX5200 are junk, stick to the Ti4x00 line for the low end.

8500 and Ti4200 are close... I prefered the 8500 in my case, but both are good cards.

still using an 8500 in my 2nd PC to this day.. great card.
