Which Video card supports Dual Output?

I am not talking about Dual Monitors but this is what I need.

I am going to have a flat panel connected to the Computer. And I want to connect a TV to my computer as well.

I want to be able to...

1. Play a DVD with my computer and see it on the TV at the same time I can work on my computer in say MS word.

2. I want the TV to be able to play some power point presentations along with my moniotr at the same time.

What video card do I need?

I would wager to say that it will be troublesome to find a system that will play DVDs in full screen on a TV and still let you fiddle around in Word on another screen.

That might be a software issue tho... I've tried it with my Radeon AIW using ATI's multimedia player (and a second PCI card for another monitor display) and also using a GeForce2MX 400 Dual Head and I had trouble getting it so you didn't see the window of the DVD program As soon as you clicked on Word in the second screen, it would pull the DVD program out of full screen.

I think if you found software that was tolerant to being in the background and still running at full screen, basically any video card that supported dual-output and had a TV-out onboard (most GeForce cards today do) then you will be fine.

Matrox G450 and a duallie system, although using Word is not bad with DVD playing in the background. I used to do this on a Duron 800 machine with 768MB RAM.
 
Are you running the flat panel via DVI? If so, you might want to look at the G550 instead of the G450.

I am using Flat panel via the VGA 15 Dsub.
 
I have a g400 and I use it either to put movies to the tv or just output the desktop to the tv, works perfectly

Duallie system - An SMP system running on 2 CPUs.

i.e. Dual Pentium III, dual Xeon, dual Morgan Duron, dual Athlon MP, etc.
