Which Video Card overclock utility do you use?

I've been playing around with ATI tools for the first time. On my secondary pc , which I put my old X700pro AGP card in....and learning the functions of the program. (the card is eventually going to my brothers pc) so I don't want to burn it up.

I've also got the new version of RivaTuner......that I may tinker with my 7800's speeds a bit. But I think it's almost factory maxed out.

What programs do you use , and why? Are there positives and negatives to using certain ones with each vendor? Obviously ATI tool might be a little more ATI specific.....I do like the 3d hair cube that it renders to look for artifacts though , that is cool to watch.

Either way , I'm looking for tips , and advice when overclocking video cards. I've been doing it with processors for a while , and I'm fairly comfortable with it....but want to get more info before I start messing with clockspeeds on the most expensive part of my rig.

Both ATITool and Rivatuner get the job done, and I believe they work for cards from both companies (I know ATITool can overclock my 6800NU). Personally, though, I prefer to match utilities to cards - RIvatuner for NVidia, ATITool for ...ATI.

Rivatuner.

I like my Low Power 3d control. As well as disabling the stupid "test clocks" things.
