Which video card option for Dell Precision?

Hi,

I am building a new desktop (Dell Precision) and I have the following video card options. Which one is the best deal? I never plan to use 4 monitors, I typically use 1, but I might use 2 someday.

What will you be using the workstation for? Will you be using "professional" software that uses/can use the GPUs for hardware acceleration (like 3D rendering or some types of data-crunching)? If so, which programs? Also, which display(s) do you use/will you be using? Resolution? Input type?

PS: At least as a starting point, have you looked over Dell's "recommendations" on the "help me choose" page?

Anything but the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 310 or 315, which use the Fermi architecture from 2010.

That is a heck of a spread in the prices , $20.34 to $6,871.26 ! I have one of these Precisions and am planning to get a new card this week , but my option list is clearly more limited than yours .
