11 is a huge improvement... I'm pretty impressed especially for a beta.

Oh and:
"a troll is often someone who comes into an established community such as an online discussion forum, and posts inflammatory, rude, repetitive or offensive messages designed intentionally to annoy or antagonize the existing members or disrupt the flow of discussion, including the personal attack of calling others trolls"
Just thought I'd throw that out there

So then your a troll too for pointing out me possibly being a troll for pointing out someone else for being a troll?

😉 It's all good.

You're right! I feel so ashamed... what can I say I am a troll. Now am I a double troll for calling myself a troll, knowing that I'm a troll? Have to think about this one for a bit 😉

i haven't tried 11 since it's still in Beta and i'm putting off installing vista a little while longer. i like 10 but it does have some annoying things.

I never used the really early ones, but of the ones I've used, version 11 hands down. It's just so fast and responsive, and the interface is very intuitive. And it's still the best library I've used.

Another vote for WMP11. I enjoy using it with my Sansa as well as just to play music and DVDs on my desktop. I'm guessing that it will go gold soon, I've found no bugs with this beta version.

Didnt 10/9 do that?
9 didn't because 10 had features I wanted like better library management. As for 11 I don't know as I haven't tried it yet.

Is it free?
If you find one then yes. Your question is irrelevant to WMP though since DVD playback is a licensing issue, not a media player one.

WMP10, havent upgraded to 11 because it is beta and looks a bit bloated. wmp10 only uses 10mb of ram, around 6 when minimized 😀

I really like the new WMP 11 beta. The library is just awesome! Also, runs really fast, plays everything I want and stuff 🙂 And goes well with my desktop design 😛

Also, use foobar2000 from time to time, it still offers a better audio quality. Though WMP is almost there 😛

Not to mention that if Microsoft bundled a DVD playback codec with WMP, the European Union would raise hell and fine them even more!

I don't care much what version is better or not as long as WMP is working that is the bottom line.
