Which version of Winamp do you use: 2 or 3?

I've been using winamp 3 for a while now, but I think I'm gonna go back to 2 because I keep getting errors and it seems like there's too many bugs in version 3.

3 on my laptop, 2.7 on my desktop 🙂

(my desktop is the one hooked up to the stereo-- actually used for playing music.... my laptop is my fun / test computer)

I tried beta 3 when it first came out, but it was overflowing with bugs and crashed (both itself and even my computer) constantly. I decided to go back to 2 and wait till 3 was officially released.

I'd like to be able to use 3, but theres this one REALLY REALLY annoying bug. Well for me its annoying anyway.....

I have a playlist of around 5000 songs, and I always have it playing randomly. Now, with winamp 2, if I close it down while it is playing song 2000 (for example), when I start up winamp again, it will start to play the song it was playing before (ie song 2000). With winamp 3, it always starts off at the beginning of the playlist.

Hope they fix it soon 🙂

I use v3 beta 2.5

I found the newest beta release crashed more often than 2.5, so I stick with it. I like the expanded playlist feature where I can keep albums organized on the left and songs per album on the right and switch quickly between albums. With v2 I had to load a new playlist if I wanted a new album.

2.80 - without any troubles, and I always go to the new version when it's up. I always wonder about the people who have troubles with any program crashing - I wonder if they are overclocking their systems...

Beta 3 version 3.

I'll never go back. The playlist editor is AWESOME, and it has some other cool features.

Plus, I don't seem to experience any of the bugs other people are experiencing. All good here!🙂
