Which version of Win XP to get?

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out which version of Windoze XP to get. I'm mainly going to be using it for video editing and web development, and I don't want a lot of excessive programs/features that might be bundled if it will keep the cost down.

Also, where's the cheapest place to buy a legit version?

Thanks.

2k is the best excpet for 2 things, the only thing i dislike about it is that WMP is nothing compared to the WMP in XP, is there anyway to get WMP XP version to work in 2K, so i can have better folder options for my mp3 folders? also is there any way to make 2k boot as fast as XP. but the best discovery i made in 2k is that it has a compatablility mode, just like xps, hidden inside of it and a simple tweak enables the tab. i wonder if the other features i discribe exist in 2k as well

You can download WMP9 for Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP here.

Not that I'm aware of. XP contains boot optimizations that just aren't in 2K.

i know about that. i was reffering to how windows xp handles the folders with mp3s in it. so i can just click on the sidebar and play all the things in the folder with just one click. i guess i can not hope for that. i guess that is windows xp only
