which version of street fighter 4 ps3 or 360?

Well it's a no brainer for me.. I own exactly one ps3 and zero xbox360's..

I imagine the xbox version will be better if you want to play online and the ps3 version will be better if you want to play on ps3.

Would be nice if cross platform multiplayer were possible. 🙁

oh yea, isnt there a thread about this game already...
 
i pre-ordered a ps3 copy myself. i do own a 360. but i dunno. ive been leaning towards the ps3 recently. something about playing with 12 year old's and retarded on XBL ruined that for me.
 
From what I understand the wired 360 Madcatz SF4 gamepads (which have been getting very positive reviews) will also work on a pc since its usb based which means they should be good for emulators. That makes all the difference for me so I'll pick up that pad and the 360 version of the game.

I'm sure there's 12 year olds on the PS3 as well... they just don't come w/ mics so it's not an automatic annoyance. I have my voice chat turned off on my 360 anyways.
 
The complaint that there are dumb 12 year olds on 360 is lame. It's easy to say there aren't annoying people on your MP system when NOBODY is on your MP system (Sony). Live is the best multiplayer system ever created for consoles so just the pure numbers game means there will be some dumb players.
 
Someone needs to invent a device for stabbing people through the internet. I think that'd solve the stupid 12 year-old problem of online gaming.

Default controller for PS3 is better, so that's the version I'm getting. Plus I picked up a cheap PC Saturn USB pad that works perfectly with the PS3. I doubt I'll really play much online so that's not much of an issue with me.

This.. it'll be a simple and elegant solution. At least until a generation of internet stabbing survivors hits 18 and tries to exact their revenge..

I'm sure you have other reasons but don't let this make up your mind. It seems like alot of the best JPN players got 360s to compete with. I play them all the time on HDR. The #1 guy on there is JPN.

Also most of the best American players have 360. Well maybe it is more split. I'm not totally sure but I know for a fact that Valle, Gootecks, I think Combofiend, and a bunch of others have 360.

I honestly don't really think you can go wrong with either one for this game though....unless the PS3 online play is destroyed like it is in HDR...which I very much doubt will be the case.


Now come on GameStop send my freaking TE stick to my local store. Online orders were shipped last week 🙁

how is it lame.. if you looked at the number's.. ps3 has sold 21 millon console's worldwide.. would be kinda crazy to think that no-one was online... damn i wonder who i was getting my ass kicked by in Fight night last night?

Im not taking anything away from XBL. its the best because they charge money. seriously, if sony wanted to charge money, they could. with that money, who knows they certainly could put more into there online. but seriously it does what it needs to do. i dont need to know how many headshots you got with the BR, or how many points you got playing sega tennis.

XB360 is full of 12 years old, because this christmas like the last. the 360 was the cheaper of the 2. And mommies and daddies love to buy there kids new toys so they can fit in with there friends. Why not get the cheaper item to lessen the blow to the wallet.

but i digress... i think you need to watch adam sessler's killzone comment video 🙂

Most definitely! It's my third strike and MvC2 stick. The new TE stick is making me nervous though.

PS3 more likely, yes I know there's little kids there too, but it's not as many, or they simply don't have mics yet 🙂

I might just say screw it and buy it for the PC!!! it's only $37 at newegg and I can just connect either game controllers to it. hmmmmmmm.......

Yeah but it will be a poor port and you will need an Oct-Core CPU and 12gb ram and a quad-sli rig to get 10fps. 🙂
