Which version of Internet Explorer should I install?

I have a very slow dial-up connection so which version of IE should I install? 5.5 sp1 or 5.5 sp2 or 6.0?

Thanks!

EDIT: Do I need to download all the patches too? Or are they included with the most recent version of IE that is available form Microsoft?

If your going to use IE then use 6.0.

You might want to check out Opera though if your running it on an older PC

Use the IE 7.1 beta

only thing is, you'll have to write it yourself, since it doesn't exist

I prefer MSIE 5.5SP2 (with the latest updates).

Only thing that really grinds me, when you try to download the *FULL* setup files for MSIE by chosing the 'download only' option, you never get all the files...at least I don't and I've tried a dozen times.

The download completes and reports that all files were downloaded. But when you go to install MSIE, it always needs to download like 12MB more. GRRR! On a 1.8Kbps dial-up, that sucks.

I have since came into possession of the distribution version of MSIE 5.5SP2 that contains ALL the cab files, finally.

Oh, they're out there, but they're also the ones who think Gator, Bonzai Buddy, and Comet Cursor are really good programs.
