Which version of firefox fork will not have signed addons?

I'm using Firefox 28. Dunno about the forks, but I found this page interesting:

https://wiki.mozilla.org/Addons/Extension_Signing#Timeline

Check the Firefox Release Calenar for specific dates.

  • Firefox 40: Firefox warns about signatures but doesn't enforce them.
  • Firefox 41: Firefox will have a preference that allows signature enforcement to be disabled (xpinstall.signatures.required in about:config).
  • Firefox 42: Release and Beta versions of Firefox will not allow unsigned extensions to be installed, with no override.
The first ESR version to support signing will be Firefox ESR 45. The current plan is to have ESR work like 41, with a preference that can turn off enforcement, but that may change in the future.
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Addons/Extension_Signing#FAQ

  • Which add-on types will need to be signed?
    • Only extensions (type 2 in install.rdf). Themes, dictionaries, language packs, and plugins don't need to be signed.

  • Will other applications like Thunderbird, Seamonkey, Palemoon, etc. require extensions to be signed?
    • The leaders of each of those projects will decide if they want to enforce signing, keep it as a setting, or deactivate it by default. We haven't heard about any other applications planning to support this.

  • .... Link above has 13 more bullet points lol

Don't like the dark theming? I don't know how to change it. I don't think it would be hard though. Find where it defines element color, and make it the same as regular Firefox.

i don't like firefox much these days and if you ask me they should go back to what made firefox great. been using firefox since the start but with the random crashes these days firefox is getting useless for my needs. firefox should just been about security rather than speed and gimmicks.

Thanks why are you still using Firefox 28 ? Isn't a security risk ?
The Security Risk is all about Copy Right Protection and limiting the users ability to download Media.

I still use FF v28.0 because all the latest versions are full of Security Right Protection - Eg: U-Tube and Movie Site Downloading... etc and the latest FF GUI is SHIT and that includes their Classic Theme.

It's as if Mozilla and Adobe Flash have declared war against users downloading video or any sort of media.

Use FF v28.0 and Flash Player v17.0.0.169 and stick with it - DO NOT UpGrade either for the time being along with DownloadHelper v4.9.24.1 and Download YouTube as MP4 v1.8.3.1 both Signed and keep your stupid DivX Web player Updated but be aware of their Ad-Ware for Chrome... whatever when installing.

AdBlock Plus loaded with FanBoy Annoyances and EasyList.

Latest Oracle JRE Java is OK - So is Abobe Shockwave Player.

At least you can watch and download video from CNN, Jazeera News sites... etc and most Movie Sites plus U-Tube.

Believe me FF v28.0 is a sweet Browser with the Add-On's I suggested.

I should not be spilling these beans as I will probably be band again - as I still use my modified version of NetVampire Pro 4 - LOL.

Probably all of them. If you're using Firefork you're probably smart enough not to download bonzibuddy.xpi.
