Which V8 is better - 5.7L LS1 or 5.7L Hemi?

y no mention of the greatest enjine of all.. the SUPRA engine. stock, it could take so much boost. the engine is a tank. granted, it aint much if it aint charged.

as for mods, the LS1 is 999999x better... but the 5.7L HEMI has a really good output rating stock.

The old LS6 was. The new LS6 that is in the Z06 vette is a 346

The old LS6 was. The new LS6 that is in the Z06 vette is a 346

did not know there was a new LS6, cool. I love the Z06.. such a sweet car.

Yeah, the z06 has a more free flowing exhaust, but I was just comparing engine to engine.

i see.. either way it's a 350 just with different engine components :)

how old is the Hemi and how old is the LS1, since both have basicaly the same stats I would go with whichever has been around longer.
