Star Wars as a Stormtrooper. Then I could walk around all day shooting my blaster and not have to worry about hitting anything.

Orion Slave Girls and holodeck are tempting, but if youre a jedi you can get all the girls you want, and force just about anyone to kiss your ass. Also, Star Trek universe is fairly self righteous and judgemental, so even if you wanted to jerk off in the holodeck they wouldn't let you.

The same holodeck that constantly breaks down? The device which reguarly malfunctions, trapping you, with transporters never used to rescue you? The same technology which will almost kill you on a regular basis? No thanks.

As for me, I'd want to be in the world of Aeon Flux. At the very least, the common wierdness would make life... interesting.

LotR. I remember when I first finished reading the books (way back when..), I dreamed living in that universe for several nights. 🙂

This is one of the funniest posts I have read in ages. It keeps cracking me up every time I go back and read it! :laugh: I just have this mental image of a Stormtrooper walking down the hallways at work and people ignore it, but stuff falls off of your shelf in your office every so often.

Yeah but it would still just be a glorified video game, not the real thing!

If I was going to be an average joe i'd have to go with star trek because it's the only one the isn't covered in poverty, war violence, etc, but that's also why it's the most boring.

But it would still allow you to experience all of the worlds without getting killed or injured. Though if you want to be killed or injured, you can turn off the safety protocols.

Isn't there holodeck technology in places like Quark's bar at DS9 where you can live out your fantasies?
 
Star Wars if I could be a Jedi, LotR would probably be the most 'interesting,' but Star Trek would probably have the best quality of life.


So assuming no Jedi mindtricks, I'm all over ST. The question now, is which era ;
