Since you said we'd get/have enough credits to live a comfortable life....

Serenity/Firefly would be my 'verse :)

While WoW, Star Wars, and LotR are all cooler, life on Earth in the Star Trek universe sounds pretty much like utopia.

Star Trek always had the better ships. I'd love to get the Enterprise-D, pimp it out a bit, take out crew quarters and put in massive bath houses, have a little harem and whatnot on there, and just cruise around enjoying life.

And I imagine that in the worlds of Warcraft and Everquest, few people have a maturity level higher than a whiny 5-year old. :p Not that I've ever played those specific games, but I have played other online games.

While the holodeck sounds cool and all that sh!t, I don't wanna have to be in the military like one would if on the Enterprise. Landing parties are made up of a few peeps. I don't wanna be stuck on a friggin ship all the time carring-out my "duties" and whatnot. The bar on the Enterprise looks boring as h3ll too. Also Utopian stuff sounds boring to me. To "leave it Beaver" perfect and all.

Star Wars gets my vote. Go where you want when you want. There were more alien races in one bar in SW then 10 yrs of ST. I'd definatley want some Jedi powers too. See hot chick, do "force pull", profit when boobies pop out!

Really, I'd rather be Time Lord like in Dr. Who. But the choice aint offered. Heh, I'd go back in time and you'd all be posting on FernTech now.

wtf??!

You people are supposed to be nerds.

For what it's worth, Star Wars was in a *GALAXY* far far away; not another universe :p :)
Star Trek was in the future in *this* universe,
ditto for Battlestar Galactica...

And, Star Trek is obviously fiction. Once the holodeck is invented by mankind, there'll never be another invention. That is, unless holodeck1.1 is replaced by holodeck 1.2 (capable of 2 chicks at the same time) :p :)

Star Wars, if I could be Darth Vader. Otherwise, I'd spend my life on the holodeck in Star Trek world.

WoW

If you die, you just run from the graveyard back to your corpse, and get instant resurrection. Or you can have the "Spirit Healer" resurrect you and just have your equipment take a 25% beating. With immortality, death is just a learning experience. Plus you have infinite endurance because you can run forever without getting tired.

You also get lots of cool abilities and spells.
