Well let me update... I think i'm going to get the Wega... I narrowed it to 2 versions the one with PIP and no PIP. The pricce difference is $100, should I get PIP or save $100?

Personally I'd go with the 16:9 TV. RCA's middle line and cheap stuff is horrendous, but their high end products are very good.

if your budget is that high, you'd be stupid to buy a 4:3 TV to be honest.

Well, since most movies are 2.35:1 ratio, you still have black bars. Of course it doesn't look as ridiculous as on a 4:3...

Paying a lot of $$$ for a 4:3 HDTV is not a very intelligent move. Either spend less money and get a FS or FV line Wega (non-HDTV) with the intent to replace it in a few years when 16x9 is the standard and cheaper, or get your wallet out and buy a 16x9 HDTV now.

You'll regret buying a 4:3 HDTV in a few years when HDTV will have settled in, especially knowing how much you paid for it.

I got a 32" Wega XBR and I love it so much. :)

The PIP is very nice on it too, instead of showing in a corner, it splits into basically two smaller TV images that can be adjusted to the size you want. You have to try it out for yourself.. :D
