Which TV tech is better?

I can go either 37 inch Westinghouse 1080p LCD or the Samsung HL-R4266W
42" High-Definition rear-projection DLP TV. Which tech is better? Is there something else out there better for ~1800?

People like the Sony A10 series LCD RPTVs - Crutchfield - 42" $1800

The best thing to do is look at them in person and choose which one you like best.

I'm still trying to decide myself, between the Sony ($1800), a 46" Samsung HL-R4667W ($2100), or a 50" Samsung 1080p for $3400.

I was at Sears yesterday and they had a few 1080p TV's for 3,000 or less.
