Which truck would you purchase if you needed a new truck for work

I'm white collar. The day I need to buy a truck for anything other than towing a boat (I'd be smart and just rent one if I was moving) is the day I'd hang up my hat and consider my life a failure.
 
I have purchased over 20 Silverados for our fleet in the past two-three years. The Chevy dealer offered us the best combination of price / service / trade-in flexibility, and the trucks are tough to beat for reliability.
 
I like the ram, i drove around 3 while i was looking to buy and i drove around another 3 as "rentals" and each one was just great great trucks.
Stopping power and maneuverability were great, and they can haul a ton.
The f150 has a better frame if your looking to haul/tow stuff but the dodge has a good enouch box if all your using is the bed. If you are going to be hauling though look into the f250, or gmc 2500 great trucks too
I didnt like the sierra or silverado, both seemed more clumsy and didnt stop as well. The titan is a poc imho, its got some nice specs but when it comes to using for a work truck its pretty useless as the frame is weak (two guys around me use them as painting and concrete haulers, and both barely 5-10 months old are chipped and bent and dingged more ways than i can imagine how they would have been)
 
I think the truck to purchase would depend on the type of work it was being purchased for.......you cannot option a Titan out as a dualie, but a dualie option gives a lot of flexibility in 5th wheel trailering, such as with large horse trailers or towing car carriers.

But, for a true work truck, either a Chevy/GMC or Ford would get my vote.....can option either in so many ways to fit almost any requirement needed to meet. Cannot do that with any Japanese vehicle out there.
 
from your choices, i would have to say NONE of the above
you start with F150, so all the trucks must be 1/2 ton........

I choose to keep the 6 year old 1 ton I am most often using, ftw,

because I would not be able to put 2 tons of rock salt in the salter thats
goes on the rear in the winter.

preference between them otherwise?? I have not looked at the 2006 trucks,
so I have no choices today.

At my work they did order some new 1 ton Ford diesel
and 3/4 ton Chevy multi fuel trucks. {Gasoline, and either propane or cng or methanol blend, not sure which alternative fuel they will be yet}
