Which tools to replace watch battery?

I'm tired of paying someone to replace the battery in my two Guess watches where the backing has no notch to put in a screwdriver, like other watches do. What kind of tool do the jewlers use?

Does the whole back unscrew? I have gotten away with using a pair of needle nose pliers to unscrew these types.

A 9.99$ Jeweler screwdriver set is all I ever needed to get the job done.

The tool I have seen them use on my watch looks like a ratchet wrench with 3 protrusions.

The jeweler I went to for my last battery replacement charged me $1 to do it. Is it much higher elsewhere?

I usually go to Macy's and do it there. It only takes about 3 minutes and costs like $6 with the battery.

They are professionals so they don't mess up the water seal

A jeweler won't tell you were to buy the tool. So no one knows?

They charge about $7-$10 here.

The seal should be replaced ANY time the cover is opened, "professional" or not.

BTW, I've noticed Wal Mart uses these two tools:
Case knife, Case opener.
They used them on my watch in the past with no problems, but now they will only replaced batteries in watches you bought there. But I imagine the 3 prong tool you linked is the best kind, and I wouldnt need a knife? They have quite a few tools and such. 72 gaskets for $8, case closing tool... I need one of the strap notching tools for my belt.

The jeweler I went to doesn't replace the seal, ever. He said if you're careful it's fine.
Besides, isn't that only for submerging the watch or to keep moisture out?

Most times they don't do that. Anytime that the cover is opened it unseals from what I know. Many watches open differently of course, and some use the seal. However I don't even think if you send the battery to the factory to be changed they will seal it like it was originally done.

wal-mart installs watch batteries for free if you buy the battery there.

This is regardless of if you buy the battery there or not.
