which to use - Divx or mpeg2??

I have my new Leadtek TV tuner card setup to write divx 5.03 avi files.

I then edit them, and save the results encoded with divx 5.03.

All seems to look pretty good.

Any reason I'd be better off with mpeg2 at any stage of this? This seems quite good.

Only if you wanted to compress the mpeg-2's with a different codec.
