Which to rent: Black Hawk Down or Behind Enemy Lines?

I havent seen either of these movies yet and now that I have finished my HT (see my sig), I need to pick out a good movie to start with. This will be the first movie that I actually "enjoy" as the others were more for configuration purposes.

Pissed me off again about Klinton's foreign policy (or lack therof).

Black Hawk Down is the ultimate guy movie. Non stop killing. It was great, sans political diatribe.

WHAT AN AWFUL MOVIE!!

Black Hawk Down is the way to go, but be mindful it's VERY graphic. I had to turn my head a good number of times while watching it. Behind Enemy Lines is a horrible action flick, worse than a Michael Bay flick.

did you get those Whaferdale's on UBid. If so, how was the service/price? And how do like the speakers? I am looking to get some Klipisch's myself, but have heard some good things about the Whaferdales.

I loved the F-18 sequences in BEH, pretty sweet stuff. BHD was alright, but seemed to be riding the coattails of Saving Private Ryan. (IMHO)

CPA, Actually if you look at my equip page I got them all at buy.com. I lucked out because they have raised their prices some but theyre still a pretty good deal. I also used a 25 of 250 coupon so they were even cheaper.

I couldn't stand watching behind enemy lines, I just couldn't get past that guys freaking nose! Drove me crazy the whole movie.

Apart from the air plane scene in behind enemy lines, that movie had nothing to offer.

BEL was an embarrassing pile of Hollywood tripe.

Black Hawk Down, OTOH, was, while not exactly enjoyable, an amazing movie, as true to real life as you will see. Allow me to quote a guy I know:

If you havent seen it, watch it. It is not a fun movie, or an enjoyable one. It is dark, dreary is disgusting. It is also a movie I hope you will watch in honor of 19 US Army soldier who died in a lost cause.

I refused to watch it in the theaters, due to the fact that I know some that died there and my emotions wouldnt allow it. I have seen it at home since, and in private. It is well done, and not "Hollywooded".

get this movie, and watch it, and honor those who died. They are professionals sent to do a job, they didnt ask to be there, but they went where they were sent without question.

RANGERS!!!! Lead the way!

BHD is an excellent movie. I wouldn't rent BEL if they paid me to take it home.
