well, people recommended that I dont put more than 2.2v for 24/7 use as long as I have good case airflow. As for the timings, core 2 duo doesnt mind higher timings and it looooves more mhz instead. I would set your timings to 5-5-5-15 and clock the memory as high as it goes with 2.1-2-2 volts. Once you have reached the highest speed your overclock allows, tighten the timings and use memtest to check for stability. Make sure you run two passes as I sometimes have a perfect first pass, then the second craps out..Good luck

what do u mean by tighten the timingS???
yes there is good airflow in the case....first in the side lid i adapted a 120mm fan that blows air into the big typhoon's 120mm fan...they are both the same so i can adjust their speed equally...the ram gets air from these fans and it has the heat spreaders as well...there is a 80mm fan in the front of case which blows air in through the hard drives...a 120mm fan in the back(originally came with BigTy) blowing air outside...and the PSU has 2x80mm fans one sucking from inside and the otherone in the back blowing out....
out of topic...ive been trying to reach 3.6 and i have but once i start orthos it fails it right away....it says something aboud round that is 0.5 and it should be less than 0.4...how can i stabilize it more???so i can find my max....temps are 46-48 iddle(hsf at lowest speed)....thx

you need to add more voltage to get it stable... vcore voltage that is.

tightening timings means making the nubmers lower.. such as 4-4-3-10 or 4-3-3-X

NZ go here and read up.....
now how do i do to go about tightening the timings? i mean which one do i reduce first and do i test after reducing one and keeping the others the same...how do i play with the numbers so that i find the best timings??? thanks

ok, now in order to pass memtest i should not be getting any red lines in the bottom sayin where it failed and the mbs and so on???or is this fine? cuz i had to increase the timings at 800Mhz so that i didnt get a red line so soon...thx edit:could someone pls answer me the previous question??? thx
