I bought a few msi 128 and 64 ones.. not bad..

I would stick with either pny/msi/asus maybe gainward. visiontek may be out of business..

abit isnt bad i guess but not a lot use them, jaton/evga are like generic of generic.. chaintech is okay i guess.

Here's my vote for the Gainward Ti4200...

I have both a Gainward Ti4200 GF4 and Ti200 GF3, and both have been great cards at great prices.

 I'd say there's very little actual diff for 4200 cards. I'd avoid EVGA, AOpen and non-GS Gainwards as these are known to cheap out but other than them they're all VERY similar IMHO.

:D Do look out for the 4200-8X 128MB as these should use the higher std clocks of 250/500 over 250/444 and should also o/c much better too (the AGP8x ability itself is pretty useless). Do spare a thought for the Rad9500PRO as it may be a similar price to the 4200-8X and is certainly far superior. If you need cheap any std 4200 is a great buy!

;) Competition rules (and M$ suck)!

MSI 128MB's overclock almost the best possible out of any 128MB 4200's

they are fantastic cards.
comes with TONs of software, great quality card.

I looked up the MSI cards on newegg.com, the 64MB is $169, the 128MB is $156 (out of stock right now of course). Not sure what's better off. The 64MB seems to have better specs than the 128. I hate video cards today!!!!

hmm, i have the msi 64mb on my wish list, the 64 is only 132. Or 135 if you want the vivo, but neither are in stock, the base one without vivo is supposed to be instock again soon. I hear its great for overclocking, and its specs list its memory bandwidth higher then the rest, 10.4 to 8.4 on the rest or something like that.

Another vote vote for MSI, their cards are really nice and o/c well.

be careful of gainwards.some models had high rma's.the regular abits work well also.have one running as high as coolbits will let us oc stable.
