Hey, I haven't post here for awhile. Well here's an update, after I fried my 650E@950 CPU I finally scrounged enough money to afford a Thunderbird CPU and motherboard.
However, I came upon a small dilemma. I would like to ask about which one would most likely be "unlockable" and has the "best" overclockability.

I will be picking up a KT7 Raid board since it won me over with the SoftMenu III and its raid capabilities. How does the A7V compare to it? someone please inform me ;)

Stick with the ABIT board all the way. Not only is the ASUS board more expensive, but generally the cpu will run hotter, and of course the ABIT board has more tweaking options. As far as the cpu choice goes, I dont believe there are lots of people paying for the 800s, when tonnes of 750s are hitting 1Ghz +. Im running a 750@1gig on a kt7, and not only is it stable, but damn this sucka is fast, and was tonnes of fun to set up :)

Good luck with your rig
