Yup same the only other keys i use with my right index finger are the "H's" and "J's", so the spacebar is hit by the index

ALWAYS use the left hand for the shift, control, and alt key way too hard to use the right without concentration

I use mostly my right but also my left thumb and just about any finger that is convenient. I took typing class long enough to learn the keyboard but not long enough to use the correct finger for each key. I can still type ~40-50 words/minute.

The right. Looking at my keyboard, you can see the right side of the spacebar is more worn out.

I am typing to see which one I use and I use the left. My right thumb is right over it but I don't use it. Just the left. And I am right handed.

Although sometimes I just smash it with my fist.

Testing to see what the hell happens when I type.

Left only, because my right thumb is positioned vertically OVER my left.

the right part of the space bar is worn out more.

Conclusion: I use my right thumb.

In addition, it looks like i have almost never used the right shift key.

I'm right-handed but I hit the spacebar with my left thumb.... always just felt more comfortable this way.

I don't have thumbs, so I have to hit it with my chin so I can still see what I'm typing.

Right, definitely. I thought maybe i used both since I use both shift keys...but I realize after typing this response out that i only really use my right. My left thumb has forsaken me!! lol.

Left. When I took my typing/keyboarding class in high school, I had my right hand in a full cast that prohibited me from moving my thumb. I picked up a lot of bad typing habits having to compensate for being in a cast for 8 weeks while learing typing fundamentals.

I still to this day haven't ever taken the time to correct them.

The other day I was going downstairs to get some coffee and I tripped on my extension cord (it was plugged into a hair dryer) and that sucked because I broke my neck.

I wrote that to figure out which thumb I used the most. I only used my left, but then I use Dvorak and not Qwerty.

I accidentally clicked left, then realized that I use both depending on where my fingers from both hands are in relation to the spacebar.
