There are far more xbox's out there and it has been around longer. the PS3 could prove out to be just as bad. Plus you are covered for 3 years on the 360 if you do run into RRoD issues.

A lot of developers are pulling resources away from PS3 game development due to poor sales and increasing resources for 360 development. I think you'd already made up your mind before asking the question, but I think you are going to be disappointed with the game library for at least another year.

"...the controller is not very comfy..." That's your opinion. Had the OP not made up his mind yet, that wouldn't have helped him any.

You don't buy the 360 "reliability thing"? Even Microsoft has admitted there is a problem, hence the new 3-year-warranty policy. I've personally had 2 new (i.e. not refurbished) Xbox 360s get the RRoD each with less than a year of operation. One was a unit purchased in March '06 and another was an Elite purchased in May '07. And yes, I know how to take care of my consoles.

I have both consoles so I'm not biased either way. But more and more I'm thinking of ditching my 360. I have a good PC and it's very apparent that games for the 360 can be had on the PC. This is somewhat true for the PS3, but the PS3 also serves as a blu-ray player for me and has free online play.
 
Honestly, If you asked me last year I would have said 360, now Im leaning more towards the PS3. The death of hd-dvd, free online play, and reliability all point me in that direction. If I had more time to play games Id get one now, but between the PC, Wii, work, and possibly kids in the near future, I dont have time as it is.

I think he meant he doesn't buy the PS3's reliability. Nevermind the fact that the console has been out for more than a year in two territories and almost a year in the other. Nevermind that there are already around 10 million units out there which would mean there would be quite a few angry owners out there if it had problems to the extent that the 360 does.
