Ive pretty much narrowed it down to:

HSU VTF-2.3
Rythmik FV12
Epik Legend

Im considering the FV12 pretty strongly.

I like the FV12 too. IMO (just based on design/specs) that it would have a little better output and overall sound. Direct Servo drive and all.....

ahahahaa!!! That wasn't even on the list :D

Haha, I guess i tricked you guys. :D Turns out its a fucking awesome subwoofer, designed by Dr. Hsu of HSU research and similar to the VTF2 (actually almost on par with the VTF3) but with a better amp, and i found it B-stock (which i hear are usually perfect) for under $600, so i pulled the trigger.

If anyone cares i'll post pics/impressions. Going from a HTiaB sub to this should be a gargantuan step. Just watched Thor at my brother in laws house with his HTiaB sub...cant wait to watch it on my system.

Good choice. I would have gone with the Hsu only because of Peter and Dr Hsu's support with their customers. But good choice nonetheless!

They do have great CS (if its even needed). I'm glad I went with something he designed, HSU subs are rock solid. Outlaw is a pretty good company too.

Warranty wise...HSU is 7 year woofer/2 year electronic, and Outlaw is 3 year woofer/electronic. I kind of prefer that since the amps are usually what fails if anything does.

Thanks for the help guys! Im glad i got an accurate sub with the ability to go pretty low.
