the credit card is only to build credit for probably for big purchases.

at quick glance, the 2nd one is best. amex blue for students would also be a nice one to get.

i was originally going to get that but the only thing that's holding me back is that amex is not accepted everywhere.

I have the Dividend Platinum Select and it has worked great for me. I got my first $50 check after about two months of having the card :) .

$0 in finance charges + $50 for using my card = PROFIT!

its accepted nearly everywhere, its not really a big issue
