Which stores give the best employee discounts?

I heard that The GAP gives 50% off to all its employees. Not confirmed though, and not everybody likes The GAP.

best buy sells products to employees at 5% over wholesale. not a bad deal on certain items, but discount isnt very good in the computer department. Any audio/video equipment gets great discounts.

Outdoor stores usually give some awesome discounts on expensive items. If you buy in the store you get a standard discount but if you buy through a "pro deal" (directly from the company) you get 5-10% off wholesale.

They have a limied 50% discount. I think it's like they can use it 2x but the normal discount is I believe 30%.

William Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and to others under the same ownership give 40% off to their employees.

Jewlery stores usually give the best discount! I know one girl that used to work at a small jewlery chain store in the east coast, employee discount was 85% off.

<< I heard your mom gives excellent discounts to EVERYONE :Q >>

not since your mom's been stealing business😉

alotta retail give their employees 50% off because they have to wear clothes from the place they work to work.

get it?

*kat. <-- got a haircut today.

At Circuit City you usually get good prices. Big hardware isn't really marked up but things like cables and other accessories is really cheap. For example a 6' Gold USB cable which retails for $34.99, employees get for $4.07. Also things like car/home audio is really marked up. You can usually get car speakers for half of whatever retail is. Software you don't really get a discount on but nobody really does. Peripherals are usually decent, I'd say ranging from 10-30%.

My sister works at the GAP and she gets 50% off. Plus, she also receives a 20% discount at Old Navy as well.

Personally, I think the best discount is Best Buy, already mentioned before, though CompUSA isnt bad, but you have to have your A+ to work there, from what I was told
