Which Star Trek: TNG episode is this? (has Wesley)

And it's from one of the first three or four seasons. All I remember is that Wesley meets up with some mysterious stranger, and at some point the stranger transports the enterpise to the edge of the universe. I've been wanting to see this episode for years, but I haven't been able to find the name or a synposis.

That was a good one. I loved that guy who though he was doing all the magic with the warp drive, with all his formulations and stuff. Turns out he was doing nothing at all, it was all his assistant - the Traveler......
