I only follow baseball so how 'bout Chicago White Sox announcer Hawk Harrelson? My god..if that ain't the definition of mega homer I don't know what is. He even calls the opposition the "bad guys" and of course uses "we" all the time.

Hockey: Detroit Redwings

Baseball: NY Yankies and Boston Red Sox

Football: NE Patriots and Dallas Cowboys

Basketball: Boston Celtics and LA Lakers

Why is being a "homer" bad?

It is much better than being a freaking bandwagoner for a team that you have no connection to.

(See: Rams fans when they were winning, Patiots fans, etc)

Go Lakers...

But, what about the entire SEC conference (NCAA football). Or Real Madrid, or Liverpool.

The Lakers ride the line between homers and bandwagoners. USC, The Yankees and Manchester United are all bandwagoners.

Mets fans are right up there.

But the real question is, who has the dancingest Homer?

Springfield Isotopes, that's who!

Cornhusker fans... if you lived in Nebraska, you'd know.

Granted, I am starting to warm up to em, but I've long disliked them because of most fans. It's as if they are always going to do it all every season, and when they don't...

I started pulling for the Rams when they drafted Torry Holt--on that day. The next season, they happened to win a super bowl. whatever.

I stopped pulling for them when he left.

Same with SD the day they drafted Rivers (well, drafted/traded. whatever). 😉
