hey everyone, Thanks in advance for any input. My problem is I just got the Audigy 2 ZS Gamer sound card and now i'm wanting to get a set of 5.1 speakers. I've been debating between the Creative megaworks 550 5.1 and the Logitech 5300. But i am wondering if they are really worth the extra 100+ dollars for the extra power and THX certifaction over say the logitech Z640's. I mainly use my PC to play games and listen to MP3s.

My current setup elimantes 7.1 systems but I will be moving in 4-5 years so i'm thinking the Z640's will last till i move then i can make sure i have a set up where 7.1 can be used and get a good set of 7.1 speakers.

Any comments/thoughts are greatly appriciated!

Get the Logitech Z680's. I have em now with the Audigy 2 ZS 7.1 Sound card, and i LOVE them! The sound is superb!
