which speakers to buy?

i'm in the market for a set of good speakers for my dorm room. would like to spend under 100 dollars and it has to be at least 4 channels since i will be watching dvds and playing video games. Which set of speakres would be nice? i know only about logitech z540 and z640, and the altec 251 5.1 set. Are there any other speaker sets i shoudl consider?
 
i'll take a look at the Creative Inspire 5.1 5200 and the Altec 4200 since they r within my price range. However, the 560's are a little out of my budget so i can't go for those. Compared to the z540's, 640's, or altec 251 5.1's, which ones sound teh best for dvd play and gameplay. Since all of these sets sell for almost the same price, price isn't a factor
 
I helped a college bound skicat build an Intel setup with the Altec 251 speaker system. It rocks!

I have not heard the other speakers you mentioned.
