Which sound card *FULLY* supports A3D/EAX in Windows 2000/XP ?

I've been using my trusty MX300 for a long time now...
It some what supports A3D in WinXP using Win98 Compatibility mode (but it KILLS my FPS)

(The only game I play with A3D is Counter-Strike)


What sound card do you guys recommend? I think I heard the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz works perfect in Win2K/XP w/ a3d. is that true?

If CS is using the same 3d sound engine as HL (and I think it is), then it's A3D 2.0. Neither the Turtle Beach, Hercules, or Creative cards support A3D 2.0, only A3D 1.0. A3D 2.0 is/was proprietary to Aureal based cards only. You'd have to run the game in EAX.
