I prefer to play with just one city, so don't really like bothering with the separate cities among a region of SC4. Just wondering how prevalent my play style is of those playing SC.

I got used to the regions, I mean, the rest of the gameplay is a vast improvement over the 3 series, that me preferring individual cities just became less important.

Shame that the upcoming Societies (Simcity "5") will have a much less specific focus on city planning and management.

SimCity2000 is the only one i play now. I played a bit of 3000 and i wasn't impressed.

Plus, i'm pretty damn good at 2000:)

I found the UI of SC4 so bad that I couldn't play it. And the regions thing confused me as well.

I still play the original for Super Nintendo. I haven't beaten it yet though :(

I always had problems with SC4 regions becoming "unlevel" and wrecking connections between the two. Always pissed me off when it destroyed a power plant or something. I also could never get a ferry terminal built, no matter how much terra-forming I tried.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Simcity Societies brings to the table. I'd like a Simcity 5, but I'm not holding my breath. :)

I'm a diehard SimCity 2000 fan. When I was still in grade school, I spent a whole summer vacation playing pretty much only that. My dad got me SimCity 3000 Unlimited, and I didn't like it as much. SimCity 4 was similarly disappointing, as I remember it...
