Which side of your town/city is considered "the bad part"

Right where I live. It's the southwestern side, but not so southwestern as to be in the rich folks territory (there's a college campus seperating the ghetto from the rich bastards, and that's it)

Isnt there another statistic that goes along with this. I went to University at Buffalo and at the time they said it was the safest and also had another statistic that went along with it 😉
 
The east side of gainesville is the poorer side, but there are tons of nice neighborhoods on the east side. The west side is richer, but is a sprawling mess of poor planning, big box retailers, and traffic. East side > West side.

The southern part of my town is the crappy part.

One major freeway divides the town into bad and good parts.
