I was gonna go with AMD for my next system, but this 1.6Ghz northwood is intriguing me.

it all depends whether I get that Asus mobo from CDW. If I do, I may be an Intel man all over again.

So why don't you say AMD is sad because their fastest CPU is still almost 600 mhz behind the competition? Macs story all along is that mhz is not everything in a CPU and now that AMD says the same thing people only complain about Macs doing the same thing AMD does. Intel still won't make a big deal about the fact that their fastest performing CPU is only 800 mhz but it is a 64 bit CPU and is thereby faster due to its architechure which is the same thing that makes AMD faster.
