Which show is better? 24 or Alias?

maybe the question should have been limited to those who have actually seen both shows. i bet more people on here watch 24 then alias, just by the weekly 24 thread😛
 
why can't both be equal? people should seriously need to re-examine themselves if everything is put on a "this is the best" psycho-dysfunc.

i watch both shows.
 
ouch, alias is getting twarted 🙁

it doesn't look good for the show since the actress that plays sydney's mom isn't agreeing to do any more shows... who knows where this will go.

i'm tempted to buy the first season of 24 since i've heard it's good.... but i'm far enough into debt... ha

I watch 24 and have to say that TV wise it's the highlight of the week. But that's only because The Shield doesn't start until January...can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! If I had them all on a list and had to pick one - it would be the shield hands down!

well having watched both from the start, i can say neither matches its first season right now.

Me neither - they are nothing alike. Both are very high on the entertainment factor, that's the only similarity.

Why did the mom quit?
 
Digging this up... but i wished i could revote. I voted for 24, but that's because i've only caught snippets of Alias here and there. But i just spent this holiday watching the first and second season DVD, and downloaded the 13 episodes of this season, and i have to say, i'm hooked. That's over 50 episodes in like 4-5 days.

Man, this is bad news! Why did she quit? She certainly wasn't a top actress before this, at least i don't remember seeing her in anything that was memorial. I liked a lot of the special guests they've had on the show such as Quentin Tarantino and Christian Slater. Top rated acting, awesome plots, and the best, the characters and their various relationships. I'm not into the actions. But some of the side characters like Marshal just crack me up.
 
Alias shouldn't have been a TV show...I didn't like it until I got the DVDs. You really have to watch every episode in order from the pilot to understand the character development which is really what its about...individual missions and stuff like that are just used to advance it...

She is. And you know what's really surprising for me, how she can cry and not have tears, but still look so believable. Her character really pissed me off the first season though. For somebody who's supposedly a genius, who's highly trained as an agent, and has had to compartmentalize her life, she sure was impulsive and emotional with so many of her decisions.

Well put ya late bloomer 😉. Watching that show during the first & second seasons was real difficult, especially since it was only once a week :Q
