1st season of Alias was outstanding, better than anything 24 has done. Since they decided to dumb down Alias (repeatedly) 24 has been the much better series. Both 2 of my favorite shows, although I have yet to watch the 4 Alias eps that are sitting on my ReplayTV due to lack of interest lately.

I have seen the first seasons of both the shows and I have to say that 24 is much better. Alias does not have the suspense hold that 24 has plus they deviated from course with all that prophecy crap

It is not that Alias is a bad show, but it is nothing compared to 24. I would think that the only people who would find Alias, or any of the other show, to be superior probably never watched 24.

What exactly is the purpose of the poll if you allow dissentience?
I think both have their lures but I think the better character development on Alias makes it slightly better.
