Which Service In XP For Windows Uptime?

Which service did I turn off in WinXP that makes system uptime read N/A when I'm typing in "systeminfo" from a command prompt?

I would liek to know also. I have tried this utility and it has told me that the uptime is unavailable.

Why don't you look through the services list and see which one MIGHT possibly be the one you need and test them? Or just enable all the ones you disabled?

I'm thinking the Event Logging service might be it, since it would log the start of the computer.

No it's not event logging, I've got that and Windows Management Instrumentation starting automatically. I've muddled through the services, but not to the point of going back to the defaults. I was just hoping someone would know.

I'm thinking it may be something other than a disabled service like a setting somewhere else. It also looked like after visiting Windows updates for the recent critical updates that a couple services that I know I had disabled were reset to automatic start. Is that possible? I believe they were alerter and task scheduler. Anybody else?

This thread seems to have some information about systeminfo not working

Seems like the problem is sometimes present when you upgrade. Repairing your installation of XP might fix it
