It's not that tearing up while watching a movie is effeminate, but talking about it sure as hell is.

Yes, maybe the posters need some of these

It's only acceptable for a man to cry if he is kicked in the boys, an immediate family member or dog dies or his car gets totaled.

Who is collecting all the man cards?

That whole movie does it to me.

Also, "Last of the Mohican's" which does it to me everytime.

Two of my all time favorite movies I might add.

E.T.: when E.T. is partially dead and when he leaves to go back home

Frequency was a great movie no one watched. I thought the premise sounded retarded, but they made it work. The father son bond was well portrayed in that movie, it helped that they had a great cast.

The end of SPR when Cpt. Miller dies saying "Earn this" - oof, punch in the gut right there. And the end of October Sky (also an underated movie).

I get teary-eyed whenever I hear the music from that final rocket launch...that weepy violin.

Oh, and of course, Shindler's List makes me cry like a schoolgirl. When they give Otto the ring made from the guy's filling, with the line from the torah. I can't remember what the line it, but I broke down faster than Shindler did.

Big Fish had me put up a fight to hold 'em back.

Though that was right around the time my Grandfather had a tumor and was just before he died, so I guess I was more emotional than I normally would have been.

Good movie IMO.

the natural: when the last homer hits the lights

notting hill: when julia roberts says "indefinitely"

it's a wonderful life: when george's brother says "to my brother, george, the richest man in town".

The end of Saving Private Ryan, when the elder Ryan visited Captain Miller's grave and had that speech about trying to live a good life

omfg.. that is the roughest scene ever... ya anyone .. especially a present or past military man that says they dont feel that scene is a liar...

Ladder 49.. definatly another great movie... definatly rough on the old emotions...

Gladiator...the end when he dies ..

so many more...

Blow when he imagines his daughter was pretty sad...

But, *grunt grunt scratch sniff* I don't cry for movies.

Ladder 49: during the funeral in the end
My Girl: Thomas J ... :frown:
The Rookie: when Jim Morris takes the field in Texas

forrest gump gets me when jenny is lying sick in bed and forrest says she was with him on his border to border run.

or watching the original star wars trilogy followed up by the beginning of ep 1.

The Truman Show - when Truman's boat gets trashed but he manages to pull the sail back up.

The Shawshank Redemption - Red's monologue at the end

Oh yeah, the last scene with Tom Cruise and Ken Watanable in The Last Samurai on the battlefield.

Some TV shows have done it to me as well - Futurama (The Luck of the Fryish), the last episode of The Wonder Years.

Knight's Tale, when "Ulrich" makes it back to his father...

Don't know why, just makes me drippier then a damned leaky faucet..

Braveheart used to do it, but I've watched it too many times for it to do much..

Michael Collins brings a tear to me eye though.

ROTK: When Aragon says "For Frodo..." and charges the orcs
ROTK: When Aragon says to the hobbits, "My friends... you bow to no one", and everyones kneels for them.
The Rock: The scene when all the SEALs get killed
The Killer: When Chow Yun Fat offers to donate his eyes to his gf after he's dead, but the bad guys shot his eyes up.

That's all I can think of right now. Probably more... I don't "cry" per se. Just get a tingling sensation in my spine.
