Which Scanner Should I Get?

I have an old HP 3300C given to me by my parents when they bought a multi purpose printer, the scanner is pretty much dead after about 4 years so I'm looking at getting a new scanner. I've narrowed it down to the LiDE80 and 8000F, I'm leaning toward the LiDE80 since its smaller and takes power from the USB port but not sure which one is better.
