Which router should I use for bridge mode?

I have Comcast and have the Comcast single modem with my separate router (Linksys WRT 1900AC). I just upgraded my service and they sent me the all-in-one router/phone/modem (Arris TG862G), which I haven't set up yet. I upgraded my internet from the 25Mbps Blast to 105Mbps. My question is, should I use the Arris modem as a bridge or my Linksys as a bridge? I have a lot of devices using wireless, including my 2 Xbox One.
Also, my Linksys has been giving problems. It drops my wifi at least 2-3 times a day! which drives me crazy cause I work from home and rely on the net. In addition to that problem, if I am on Netflix on my laptop or iPad, the Internet starts to go slow for everyone else. Any ideas about that as well? For my Linksys router being so expensive, it works like crap.

I am thinking that you mean WiFi Access Point instead of Bridge.

The first thing that I would want to know is if the Linksys is really to blame for the WiFi drop offs. So, I would set up the Arris as the All-In-One Modem/Router/AP and run my devices off of that for a week or two.

Once I have established that everything is working fine with the Arris, I would probably then set up theLinksys as an AP, but leave the Arris as the Router. I would create a wireless connection on the Linksys with the same SSID and passwords that you were using with the Arris, that way you don't need to relogin with all of your Wireless devices. Then shut off the WiFi on the Arris. If everything keeps working after a couple of weeks then your problem was probably just an unstable internet connection or bad modem.

At that point you can either leave the network as-is or you could turn off the router functions in the Arris and run the network with the Linksys as the network's router, leaving the Arris to just function as a modem/gateway.

This link should give you some answers as to how to turn some of these functions on and off and configure the two devices:

In the interest of sharing knowledge, I believe that only Comcast can disable the routing functions on the Arris. I know when I had a multifunction device from Comcast there was nothing in the configuration that would allow me to do it.

Well, that sucks. Still, the Linksys should be the better WiFi Access Point.
