I am looking at the ATI Radeon 9000 Pro or 9000 128 meg version

I dont know which one is the better game performer?

Also I am looking at a GeForce Ti4200.

Heres my dilema though. First the card HAS to support DVI and come with a DVI->VGA connector because I plan on running it to my projector that has VGA in and hooking the other to my monitor for some gameplaying and VCD watching. What will be the best performer under $150? Im thinking the TI4200 will but is the dual display as good or am I better off with ATI's? I will be doing quite a bit of gaming so that is important to me. Thanks in Advance.

ATI's have crisp 2d ...

Radeon 9000 has decent amount of power behind it, price is right, faster than Ti4200

But some people, its nvidia or nothing. ATI's drivers are still a bit hit or big MESS though.

I was kinda leaning that way because anands review makes the ti to be significantly faster but will it support different resolutions on each video mode (monitor 1280x1024 and pj 800x600) and what specific models do you recommend?

The ability to set two monitors to different resolutions is a function of the OS, AFAIK - Windows XP can do it, 2K cannot.

As far as models, take your pick - There really isn't much variance between them.

I picked up an AOpen Aeolus for pretty cheap, I've been happy with it even though the memory doesn't OC very high (490 MHz).
