I think if it doesn't work, I'm just going to keep it using the manually adjusted settings..but anyone have an idea how to fix it though?

if one color gun is weak you turn down the others or vica versa. It can be done internally if there isn't enoungh control externally. In your case there appears to be but things get worse over time. Eventually you will not be able to compensate enough.

My biggest gripe with refurbs is that if you buy them from a long distance the shipping pretty much precludes returns and you get what you got.

I try to buy refurbs locally. Always look at the screen with a white background first...you can see the scratches if any.

I drove 3 1/2 hours for my G500, well worth saving $100 in shipping.

I have a NEC 22" and the funny thing is the NEC and DELLs are Sony Trinitron Tubes ... just you pay more for "Trinitron" name.

actually NEC uses mitsubishi diamondtron tubes... not sony...

hmmm the monitor is kinda blurry when I turn up the brightness

ok i think i found out the problem.. the green is out of focus.. when i turn down the green intensity, everything is sharp. damn i really don't want to RMA this... grrr

damn i should have gotten the IBM P260.. the price is now $285 for it

arrrggghh this monitor sucks.. the colors are all washed out looking... i just read the terms and conditions @ azatek.. they want me to pay return shipping!! grrrrrrrrr

pictures look great on this monitor.. but everything else the colors look washed out...

ok i just used color return a few times.. and i set the color temperature to 10300kelvin and now all the colors look nice...

but now the top and bottom is very blurry... grrr ...
