Im upgrading my computer and the only thing i dont have yet is ram. So far i have...
Pentium 4 640
Asus P5WD2-E Premium
Antec true power 550w
XP-90C
eVGA 7800GT

I play games and enjoy overclocking so i know i want a 2x1gig kit. Im thinking PC2-6400 but i may go with PC2-5400. $200 is the very most i can spend, would prefer more in the $150 range. Heres what i've found so far....

Not really sure which to go with, im open to any ideas/suggestions.

Best source for information of proper RAM is ASUS and I (and I would be willing to bet you money) that ASUS also, does NOT recommend overclocking !!! But do what you will, if you are willing to risk shortening the life off all of your components.

Of course they dont recommend overclocking, but they know most people will do it. When i ask for what type of ram, im asking anyone has used a certain type and it performaced well. How well it overclocked is the most important to me.

because it's the only 2gb kit that meats the stupid voltage requirements for am2 and c2d...:| But you have a netburst cpu so you can put ridiculous volts on the RAM!😀 In that case, I'd go for G.skill, a very good ocing RAM by all means. You can get a 2x1gb kit for $180 shipped.
