G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 3600 MHz CL18 16GB (F4-3600C18D-16GTZRX)

Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3600 MHz CL18 16GB (CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18)

The G.Skill kit has a $10 premium over the Corsair, is it worth it?

This is for my new AMD build and I am deciding on ram now. I need the pros and cons.

I have not decided on a motherboard yet, except that it will be an X570 board.

Thanks. 🙂

The Corsair kit has higher user reviews across multiple sites (Newegg, Amazon, etc).

You probably can throw 50% of those reviews out of the window, but I'd personally get the Corsair kit.

If you don't need RGB, you likely could pick up a CAS 16 kit for roughly the same price.

i know you hate LED's but can you find
CMW16GX4M2K3600C16 as those are Samsung B-dies.

Infact if for a ryzen build i would probably only get ram on this list, as its pretty much gaurentee'd not to mess up even when using overclocked settings:

Shrug. I think that those are the Trident Z RGB (Hynix) CAS18 kit I have in here, actually two kits, running @ XMP (DDR4-3600) in an Asus B450-F ROG STRIX with a R5 3600. Mostly stable.

Ryzen + B-Die is synonymous to Super Model + Lingerie.

You just need to pair them to understand.

Although i hear samsung makes an A die now... but, IMO not enough cases to say its as good as B-Die.

Now you have me rethinking my RAM...

if you have no problems with your current ram its not worth it.

if your picking out a new system, then i would pay a little more and get what is optimal.
