Can you list the specific RAM model? And does your CPU fan overhang any of your RAM slots?

There shouldn’t be a problem with tall sticks though, as that cooler isn’t very wide.

you could always buy the low profile version of that ram. the oversized heatsinks on a lot of ram today is stupid.

The memory is simply rated to run that speed, it doesn't require that speed.

You can mount 200MPH rated tires on your 1968 Simca but they will still get you around at less... far less than 200MPH. :p

I agree with Blain on that samsung recommendation.

If you absolutely had to choose between the two in your original post the mushkin sounds better. 1.5-1.65v <-- corsair listing their mem voltage as a range is pathetic imo
