Which Raid?? - 8k7a+ version Raid OR Promise's Raid?

Supz, I'm planning to either buy (2) 20 or 40GBs IBM Deskstar 60GXP and I'm wondering If I should get the raid with the + version of 8k7a cause imma get the 8k7a motherboard anywayz but i was wondering bout the performance of the raids and which one would be better?
BTW, how much does Promise's raid cost?

Maybe you want to get a separate raid card so you dont hafta keep buying a mobo with raid each time you buy a new mobo

THat's true...so Promise's raid it is...
but than again i dont think i would be changin my mobo but ...

I disagree, most top of the line Mobo's have RAID versions. I'd say use 8K7A+'s. Highpoint 370 was a tad faster than Promise in the IDE RAID comparision.
