Please help guys !
My brother is planning to buy a new video card next month.
May be Ati HD 5670(Rs.5500/-) or Nvidia GTS250(512MB@6500/-,1GB@7000/-).

Current Sys:
Intel C2D E4500 2.2GHz(No OC)
XFX 630i Motherboard
2x2GB DDR2 RAM
2 SATA HDDs
1 DVD+RW
2x120mm fans
Samsung 22" HD LCD.

He want overall better PSU.
He will buy locally.
He is confused between three PSUs from Corsair.

Corsair VX450W @Rs.3900/-
Corsair VX450W @Rs.5150/-
Corsair HX650W @Rs.7500/-

Thanks.....

I agree with the other two people. The CORSAIR VX450 is a great option for you.
On the other hand, I would go for the GTS250. Anyway, if your brother is a gamer, take a look at the ATI 5770. It performs very well and its price is not too high.

Sorry,Ati 5770(Rs.9500/-) is beyond budget and its overpriced in India.
Actually all video card are over priced that US or Europe.....:(
Yep,my brother is a gamer.
But,unfortunately he is playing MMORPG cos he don't have any good video card.

Yep,prices from local shop of at Kolkata.

BTW,I have some question.
1.How much load(%) is best for longer life and high efficiency for a PSU ?He may be upgrade his CPU(Athlon II X4 635 2.9GHz or Core i3 530 2.93GHz) later so
450W would be enough ?

2.Corsair VX450W has only one pci 6pin connector. But I don't know GTS250 have 6pin or 8pin or single or double power connector. So,I will be facing any problem for that?Even I heard that different card has different connector and different GTS250 got different connector too.Am I wright ?

A PSU usually achieves its highest efficiency when delivering between 40% and 60% of its maximum wattage.
The GTS250 needs one 6-pin PCIe connector. However, there are some OC editions that require two 6-pin PCIe connectors. It depends on the model.

The VX450 has enough power for your brother's system AND the one he wants to upgrade to at the same time. ;)

So,Corsair VX450W will provide good efficiency for this system ?
BTW,6pin or 8pin power connector doesn't matter if the PSU can provide enough power and good stable current at 12V rail ?
I mean If we buy any video card in future which have 2x6pin or 8pin power connector but that required same watt as GTS250 then VX45OW will handle it easily ?
