First, my system specs:

-Intel i7 920 overclock to 4Ghz with stock voltage, air cooling.
-Gigabyte Radeon 4890 1Gig RAM.
-12GB RAM DDR3, 6 sticks Buffallo Technology.
-X-Fi Xtreme music sound card.
-5 Antec Tricool Color 120mm Fans. With Sunbeam 4 controller knobs for fans.
-Cooler Master M690 case.
-Hard drives: 2X1.5TB WD green, 2X1.5TB Seagate 7200.11, and 3X1TB Seagate 7200.11.
-Right now I have the OCZ GameXtreme 850W, it lasted about 5 years now.
-I would like to get a modular PSU for cable management due to my many HDs. The cost will be about $30 to $40 more than the non modular.

Here are my options:
1) ABS Dark Beret Series DB850-M-BRZ 850W. $130

2) Corsair CMPSU-750HX $160.

3) SeaSonic M12D SS-850 $140.

4) Seventeam ST-850ZAF 850W $130.

5) Silverstone ST75F-P 750W . $130

Silverstone Element is Crap
ABS is an unkown...I know it is made by ATNG and their stuff is decent...but I doubt it is as good as the Corsair or Seasonic
Corsair is excellent
M12D is excellent...and cheaper...and is rated 100W higher
Silverstone Strider Plus is unkown...I have seen no review of it, but it is built by Enhance and their stuff is usually excellent.

I'd say the M12D is the clear choice at those price points.

Thanks for the advice. I am torn between the Corsair and the Seasonic. I like the Seasonic but I have the Corsair over it, with the 7 years warranty and the 140mm fan.

It is kind of hard to compare a 850W and a 750W...If you really don't need the extra 100W, then that isn't really a deciding factor....but considering it is cheaper AND is rated for a higher output...it has to be a big factor.

The 140mm fan on the Corsair is said by some to be louder than the 120mm fan on the Seasonic FWIW, although I doubt you would really notice much of a difference.

7 year warranty and Corsair's known excellent customer service are the only things I can think of that it has over the Seasonic.

Usually though...if your PSU doesn't last 7 years...then it isn't going to last 5 either.

Thanks for the input guys. I just bought the Seasonic with Newegg. Too bad the tax alone was over $11.
